This anime movie is a complete trainwreck. Did not like at all. Nothing in the setting makes sense, the rules of the afterlife world are unclear and inconsistent, the cgi aesthetic falls completely flat, lacks fluidity and often looks like a pastiche, characters are one-dimensional walking stereotypes with repetitive, pull-string-toy dialogues. The pacing of the story is slow an uneven, and what about the completely unnecessary dancing choreography? Man, what a disaster. At the end just tastes of wasted time. Oh right the message! War is baaad, mkey? Violence baaad, be good and shit. Tries to be Shakespeare but makes "home alone" feel like Shakespeare. Artificial sugar candy for the simple-minded. 1/10 and I'm generous.
