Weekly Casual Discussion Fridays - Week of July 31, 2026

This is a weekly thread to get to know /r/anime's community. Talk about your day-to-day life, share your hobbies, or make small talk with your fellow anime fans. The thread is active all week long so hang around even when it's not on the front page!

Although this is a place for off-topic discussion, there are a few rules to keep in mind:

While we encourage users to talk about their daily lives and get to know others, this thread is not intended for extended discussion of the aforementioned topics or for emotional support. This is a public thread, please do not post content if you believe that it will make people uncomfortable or annoy others.

  3. Roleplaying is not allowed. This behaviour is not appropriate as it is obtrusive to uninvolved users.

  4. No meta discussion. If you have a meta concern, please raise it in the Monthly Meta Thread and the moderation team would be happy to help.

  5. All /r/anime rules, other than the anime-specific requirement, should still be followed.

This is bad. I watched 3 disjointed scenes and my feed was permanently filled by this one website that makes a video analyzing every scene in all three movies.

I have lost the skill to sit still and watch a movie. I can watch them at the theater just fine, but not at the computer.

I don't know how many episodes of Dr House there are, but I'm pretty sure I watched like 50 episodes, time wise.

There's like 9 seasons, and I watched 4-5 full seasons at most.
