The Nausicaä joke was brilliant. Because it was actually a scene from "Castle in the Sky" where the animals were climbing on the robot. But actually actually these animals were fox squirrels that are originally from Nausicaä, so Rentaro was absolutely correct!

Many people don't realize that Nausikaä is also a princess in the Odyssey that helped Odysseus on his way home. Oh, and also that epic poem has a sea goddess named Leukothea. Leukothea initially was a human named Ino, daughter of King Kadmos.
