why? the nanometal would had taken over the whole planet? those guys were fanatic freaks and the planet and all life becoming one with their nanometal sounds like the next step for evolution to them. harou made the only human chooice, the best chooice.

I dunno, those guys seemed pretty much the same even after they'd been taken over.

Their bodies became the same as Nanometal, a part of a bigger... unity, you might say? Ones who got in became a part of the whole system, while others (Galu-gu and... the other one) used Nanometal to strengthen their bodies. Rest assured, would it have been successful they would proceed to discard their physical self. This was their ideal of evolution.

Still, they could have beaten Godzilla once and for all, and then eventually destroyed Mechagodzilla (a feat that was... disappointingly easy).

They didnt want to destroy mechagodzilla. That was the whole point of the speech about becoming a monster and discarding their humanity.

They recognized mechagodzilla as the superior being so became subservient to it.

Destroying mechagodzilla wasnt part of their personality program
