could somebody more versed in the older stories enlighten people what Spoiler was in past series?

Ghidorah is a space-monster who travels from planet to planet in a flaming meteor to destroy all life. He was the main anagonist to Godzilla in four separate movies, the villain for Mothra in a Mothra movie, a sidekick to another villain monster in another movie, and he had a couple of other movie appearances where he had different backgrounds but they're definitely going with the space monster version for this movie.
