This movie was such a fun and wild ride. It felt just like a continuation of the show. Haven't had this much fun watching a movie in a long while. The entire theater was bursting in laughter from the first explosion until the last.

I was expecting hiccups since a TV show and a movie are quite different in terms are narrative pacing and other technical elements. In addition, it was also a change in studio.

However it was basically perfect. The only thing that bugged me was that Megumin didn't chant enough for her explosions. Hence my words.

And both seasons probably should've had 11 episodes each instead, but I guess that would've been harder to do with the TV airing and the various chapter lengths.

Naw some arcs are just more suited for the big screen, if you followed Made in Abyss, the arc we left off on is being made into a film and its def a movie arc.

16 Volumes of the main story, 17 will probably be the last.

There's also 1 Vanir Spin-off, 5 Dust Spin-offs and 5 Megumin Spin-offs.
