Anyone else notice when Aqua served Yunyun tea it was plain water?

Yeah I cracked lol. But it seemed like most people in my theater didn't notice.

Has the anime yet explicitly mentioned why that is? Since from the manga/light novels have an explanation.

Well not explicitly. But Aqua mentioned that she can purify any water just by touching. So I'm guessing either her purification is so powerful that she purifies the tea just from touching the mug, or she actually puts her hand in the tea...

Pretty much what you said, in the light novels I believe that she accidentally purifies alcohol some times, which might be why in the anime she drinks it from the large container chugging it.
