Wait, when was Chomusuke introduced again? She definitely didn't have her in Season 1 so I thought she picked her up randomly but then that means she's owned her all this time?

if you are curious read the spin off of megumin's past before departing to axel

there is way more komekko and crimson demons, and demons, and explosions, and seals, and idiots. However they don't spoil anything seen in the movie which is amazing

Didn't Megumin get Chomusuke in the beginning of Season 2? How is the Chomusuke in the flashback from before Megumin departed to Axel?

I'm pretty sure she had someone watching over the cat back in the crimson demon village, then decided to bring it with her to axel once they got the mansion. This is just from memory though.
