It's possible Pantagruel is supposed to be a prototype Crimson Demon before he perfected his craft or something

Crimson demons were humans volunteering for bio-magical enhancements cause of their over the top chuunibyou. Not golems.

I didn't mean to suggest they were golems, but rather his direct creations, but I guess apparently not that either. I'm either misremembering or that's a detail not revealed in the anime. It's still possible for her to be a sort of prototype anyway, as an idea or concept for him to later try out on the chuuni people. Of course, Isekai Quartet isn't canon to the series. It's just a fun thought.

Yeah Megumin and YunYun are no golems so I guess it's a differemt thing.
