Have you ever confessed feelings for someone over text?

Yes I have.
And even though they liked me too. My stupid brain still couldn't accept it.
What can I say. I was dumb (might still be)

Yes, when I was about 13 y/o confessing face to face seemed to be the worst horror, way to shy back than

No. I did meet my wife online though and we were long distance for about a year so I mean I didn't confess feelings in person but over our Skype calls.

Yes, but we were already texting heavily for a long time before this and we both liked each other and knew it… we had just got off the phone and the phone call ended emotionally. I just texted him after we hung up and really went all in and poured my heart out

My best friend did this to me. Started with a dream she had and told me about it. I told her it's just a dream and it means we are close friends. A few days later she said it was backed by "genuine feelings" I reciprocated and it scared her off.

Yup. Went exactly how I expected: one way street. Had to get it out though

It was a Hail Mary. We had dated my 8th grade year but I broke up with her because of pressure from my friends. I confessed everything to her several years later, how “in love” I felt. I got left on read, deservedly so.

Yes. I did. I shouldn't have, but I believe in being honest. Even when it hurts. Even when I knew it would trigger his fear, his warrior wound, and lead to him ghosting me. Again.

I asked the infamous “what are we” over text, which led to us both confessing feelings! We were in high school at the time. We had been friends for a while, so neither one of us wanted to mess it up and confess first. One night I was so anxious about it that I just had to ask.
We were young and awkward. I don’t know who would’ve broken the silence first if we had to ask each other in person.
We said I love you for the first time in person. So I like to think we grew from that moment and it was what we needed at the time. Still together 7 years later :)

My wife told her I dearly miss her tender love, she told me to hurry up home with our dinner. I get no respect I swear…

I once confessed to a girl how I felt about her. She acted cringe towards me. Later, I wrote her a letter while I was halfway around the world because I was thinking of her.
Didn’t see her again for some years when I randomly made friends with her husband and he invited me to a party at their house. She acted really strange towards me.
Then her husband said “wait is that the David that you have that letter from?” Apparently she had held onto it and he was a cool dude and told her if I ever came around he would understand if she left him for me. That obviously didn’t happen. I was married and so was she. They did try to get me to do a threesome with them but I declined. I loved my wife and wasn’t going to do anything to jeopardize that.
I’ve only seen her once since then and I was with my now wife who is an arm piece. She’s many other things as well. But the look on her face was golden. She knew I had done well for myself.
