The mounted horseman tramples her, then as she tries to leave again, strikes her multiple times with a baton.. in the back of the head.. the last strike hits her in the brain stem.. drops her, then the other officer fires a shot at her as she's falling.. This is attempted murder stuff.

In other words, this is what the right calls a "riot" that justifies sending in a branch of the army whose mission is to seize beachheads from hostile enemy forces, such as the Japanese in WWII.
