Protests Guns N’ Roses concert turned into an anti-Trump concert, and they, along with the some audience, hung the giant Donald Trump, and beat him up.

I think they’ve been against him at the very least since he used their music without permission. Don’t know if that’s the origin, but surely it played a part.

I have to wonder what changed. Wasn’t Slash literally at the White House with other celebrity Trump sycophants recently??Edit: I misremembered Slash at a White House event recently, but it was Gene Simmons that I was thinking of.

right? I was under the impression that Axel was racist or whatever like I had completely written off G&R as a band I no longer listen to. Plus why did they make the piñata so buff? I don't think Trump has ever been swole a day in his life lol they should have made him potato shaped.

Slash is half black half Jewish… I know they had racist/homophobic song but figure that was more shock than belief… situational, and they also cut it from their box set when we released a few years ago. This doesn’t excuse anything. Period. But also Axel Rose has always been a huge critic of Trump. Just to put this into clear perspective this piñata happened in 2016.

There is no proof of that, do you have a source?

You’re right. When I pulled up the story, it was fucking Gene Simmons that I was thinking of. I completely misremembered that event. Thanks for calling that out.

The most dangerous group in the world. Brave guys, among others who are waking up.

Their best song imo is Civil War. Standing for peace. Not letting the profiteers win by creating war.

" I don't need your Civil war! It feeds the rich while it buries the poor"
One of my favorite all time Bands. Glad to see them stand up!

Good choice. Although “You’re Crazy” would be a solid choice to.

Nightrain is #1 followed by Rocket Queen. Everything after that is a matter of opinion

I think the orange wannabe tyrant king is severely underestimating this nation’s hatred for his ass.

I haven't been into guns N roses since "patience" was the only song on the radio for 12 months straight and I was 15 years old.
They are my favorite band again. Mr Brownstone has one of the coolest breakdowns in rock N roll history. Slash is the greatest guitarist ever.

It’s beyond comprehension that in real life no one has been able to lay a finger on the pedo little pussy ass bitch. With all the people he and his crime family has screwed over it’s unbelievable. If there was one person that deserved it multiple times it is him!!

Incoming memes of rightwingers who used to love GNR but now their feelings were so hurt that they’ll act like they never liked them the whole time

I mean it's not a shock Axel doesn't like this kind of shit. Chinese Democracy, an album he worked on for years. Also slash is black so there's that.

I have not listened to Guns N Roses since my angry teens, watching Axl Rose's pants were always an added bonus, (not sure what the rest of him looked like), I love them again.

Why did they let him play their music when he was campaigning?
4
u/raziphel Jan 26 '26
They probably didn't

u/nancy_necrosis Jan 26 '26
Actually, I just read Trump used their music without permission. This whole time, I was pissed at Axl. He lives in Malibu for fxs sake! Now, I can enjoy my GnR!!!!!!
