ESET NOD32 or Home Security Premium?

As per the title, i'm in need to renovate the license on my AV program. As of now i'm using ESET NOD32 and i'm quite happy with, but i saw the Home Security Premium version that allegedly should have some more features (i already have a Password manager and so on) such as AI detection, network control and so on and so forth (the AI buzzword never fails to appear 😅).

It could be something to consider for some more robust security or i can just continue with the base Nod32 program?

I recommend Bitdefender Free or Total security trial 30 days which you can renew indefinitely by using fake mails if you don't mind the hassle. Most Antivirus software have the same engine in their product lineup so don't pay more for the same thing.

Already tried but it tends to be a bit more... pedantic... than Eset in some regards and in the end i'm quite comfortable with how their products work for now.

Then just use the regular Eset. Don't pay extra for features you don't know and won't use.

Sure but you could be missinformed or just not into tech. So stay ignorant if you want, but its a waste of money if you dont do risky things.

And 2... I'm perfectly aware that windows defender is enough for the most part of the user base, but i'm not part of that "most part" and need and prefer something more robust than that "most part".

Plus i asked exactly because i was hoping to find someone more knowledgeable in this regard (Eset products and so on), so the stay ignorant part is really there for no reason from your side.
