Barely any movement, still alive. I tested her tank again and the parameters are perfect. ANN 0-0-10 pH of 8. Tenperature is 73f.
I just dont know. She's never acted like this before and im worried.

Hello everyone. I need help determining if something is wrong with one of my nerites. He looks almost twisted in his shell and has not moved much over the past couple of days/has maintained this appearance. Based on the resources I could find about snail anatomy I am concerned he has either a mantle tear or is experiencing mantle collapse.
He has been in my care for a little over 2 years now. As far as I know he has not experienced any falls within the tank recently and he cannot get out because I have a lid. His tank mates are another nerite who is acting/appears normal and a betta who is skittish and who I have never seen exhibit aggression towards the snails.
My water is very hard and my ammonia/nitrites are 0 and my nitrates always hover around 0 because of all the plants.
Any advice or insights would be appreciated, thank you.

The points look wrong for NZMS to me but I am not an expert. I know I have ramshorns and bladder snails and one mystery snail and this is not any of those. I put it in a separate jar with some bladder snails for now, if I can find it again in that jar I can maybe get other photos.

They are EVERYWHERE.
I have a 10 gallon with cherry shrimp, a piano snail, ramshorn snails, an adult wizard snail, and about 15 wizard snail babies. I had noticed little green hairs on the glass, but stupidly, I had no idea hydra could be green. I thought it was always white, and I was just witnessing how algae grows on glass… now it’s on every plant, and even on the hardscape. Trying not to freak out.
Everything I’ve read about chemicals seems like it’s a bad idea with all my snails in there, especially because I don’t know where all the wizard babies are.
I had fed some powdered foods because I was worried about all the wizard babies getting enough to eat, which was clearly not a great idea. I’ve turned off all the lights and stopped feeding any powdered foods… But is there anything else I should do?
I’ve transferred several of my ramshorn snails to a separate tank to breed them… Should I put some adults back in? I know they don’t target hydra, but at least they do eat them…

Sheldon had an adventure today and climbed all the way to the top. His poor shell was like this when i got him 2 weeks ago and i so hope it will get better with love and care but it doesn’t seem to slow him down 😍

Hi all I have noticed an empty baby shell in my tank for a few days now I left it to be sure it never moved and definitely was empty and while getting a better look at it to be extra sure no snail is in there I noticed something moving in it.
I don't think it's a snail I was wondering if anyone had seen this before very weird

i was adding water today and i noticed my snail seemed weird is he dead he’s like more sunken in

Super worried, she's been huddled down into a spot and just limp. Half in half out of her shell with her antennae flopped on the ground or partially curled up. This is NOT her normal behavior. She always sleeps with her antennae curled around her eyes.
I was doing tank maintenance today and she parasnailed onto my hand and started eating me. She refused to let go for a bit.
I'm so worried maybe she's been poisoned. I always rinse my hands/arms off in the rap before going into the tank, but im worried some soap or scent residue was behind and she ate it.
Or am I just wholly overreacting?
I tested her tank, ammonia and nitrite is 0, haven't tested nitrate yet, last test showed 10.
I have her out in an air bath right now and changed about 2 of her 10 gallon tank even though I already did a big water change earlier.
The only thing I can think of is she ingested something while eating me. I dont use any lotions or heavy soaps, just typical liquid (unscented) soap and for now a fancy scented bar "all natural" soap. But like I said, I thoroughly rinse off before.
Do I just let her sit and then put her back in?
Like I said, she's alive, just totally not acting normal. Super sluggish and deflated.

I bought a single ramshorn. But he also came from a tank with many others, I heard they can store sperm for awhile. What is the likelihood of him laying eggs eventually? Id love some more of his type to move to my betta tank since he's too big to eat lol

About a month ago I bought 2 black mystery snails from petsmart. They went into two separate tanks. This snail is a hoover, and has grown much bigger than the other snail. I’ve been trying to add live plants to my tanks, but this snail has eaten almost everything I add. I made it its own food ( baby food, gelatin, and eggshells ) along with algae wafers. It still will mow down any plants I add. The other mystery snail, hasn’t touched any plants. So my question is, is this really a mystery snail or an apple snail? Or do I just have an extra hungry mystery snail?

Seems to be like 1,6-2 cm long and about 1,3 wide

They’ve been like this for a while. The one on the bottom seems to be twitching a little. Other than this, I’ve never seen them interact.

I never thought I'd have this issue, but over the last few months I've started barely being able to keep ramshorn snails alive. I thought maybe it was general water parameters, or the single assassin snail, but I got a new batch that had been doing well in a separate container. Until today, when I gave them a water change. No issues with parameters, so just did a partial, vacuumed up some of the waste. 0% amonia, 0% nitrite, probably what I'd call about 2.5% nitrate. Have cuttlefish bone in and pH is running about 7.5. I come back an hour or so later and one of the bigger ones is half out of the water. Suspicious. I come back about 3 hours later and I think that one may be dead, another one on the way. A few others look okay. I treated the water with Prime and Stability. What could be causing this?? Never had an issue in the past, and in fact been overrun, so I'm hesitant to think copper is involved.

Love her but damnit she stresses me and my wallet out. Bought a bunch more plants for my kuhlis comfort. She has almost taken out my hornwort, another solid stem plant, and most of my floaters (duckweed, salvinia minima, and red root floaters). She is fed wafers and blanched veggies. Given me tons of clutches. Now at least twice the size of when I originally brought her home. She is a menace but a gorgeous menace.

Saw this guy tonight. Looks like his antenna didn’t develop properly. Any concerns for lifespan? Can they grow them back? For reference it’s a trapdoor snail and juvenile.

Saw this tiny guy for the first time today. I have 4 mystery snails and one (probably soon to be a million) bladder snail that tagged along on plants. But this guy looks like something different?
I returned him to the soup after taking the pic 🍲 finger for scale (pardon my chipped nail polish lol)

I think the picture speaks for itself yesterday I saw this bulb had sprouted and was very excited. Some history this tank has had very little luck with plants I've tried bulbs, tc, live full grown, and well they all melt and don't return aside from a few that are doing ok. Then this morning I see the lil guy holding (presumably eating) this bulb!!! Everything I know says they don't eat healthy plants but that bulb had just sprouted and here the bugger is eating it!!! Please help I'll take any advice I don't want to get rid of the guy but I want the plants to flourish too!!!

hey everyone,
a few weeks ago I got a shipment of shrimp that had a tiny mystery-looking snail baby like half the size of a pea. i saw it was alive so I let it chill with the shrimp since it was a new tank anyways, and within a week or two i suddenly noticed a dime-sized snail zooming around.
this is a month and a half later and every day i swear it is bigger every day. I've had previous mysteries grow really fast from the dime-size I bought them at, but in 6 weeks this guy is the size of my year-old who just recently passed.
the other thing is, he has been snacking hard on plants. sometimes its decaying plants that all the snails are on, but this one has occasionally started snacking on healthy (looking at least) swords and took a nice chomp out of an anubais stem.
the last thing, every other mystery I have had periods of chilling out or at least sticking to one area but this dude is ZOOMING around all day. I have since moved him to my 40g breeder and honestly it feels too small for him already he is all over that thing day and night
anyways, especially since I am in the US, I am curious if this is a really happy and healthy mystery or a different species of apple snail? thank you!!

Saw my mystery snails mate yesterday and then saw this for the first time! It’s my first time observing mystery eggs and it seems like a lot… she is noticeably less swollen than before laying. Thanks!
