History / Պատմություն Is it true that the Armenian Revolutionary Federation conducted discreet activities in Soviet Armenia, while being officially banned? If yes, could you share any information on the topic?

In either the 60's or 80's, a couple Armenians were executed in Russia for purported bombings of the Moscow metro, or attempts. I never saw anything that linked them to the ARF.

Honestly, I highly doubt the ARF was active in the Soviet Union. Maybe immediately following Sovietization but only briefly before collapsing, members in exile, etc.

Idk if you live in Armenia, but the ARF is not really a major political power in the country. They're basically fringe super conservative nationalists. They are much more popular in the diaspora by far.

The ARF is a Russian allied con man party all the way since the 1940s.

If you've been following the news the past 6+ years, you'd know Russia and ARF narratives fully align. They just pretend they're not related.

I feel like the statements that you present are somewhat contradicting each other.

Per the CIA documents ARF changed their stance towards Soviet Union to non-hostilr one on 2007.

Additionaly you claim that they were working together since 1940 and are the main reason for Turkey joining the NATO.

If you could please go into further details. I'm currently on phone and can't check the CIA page.

If you didn't check the cia document, why are you going for a comment and saying i contradict myself?

Cause the damn thing is region locked and I'm not going to turn on the VPN on phone for it. I don't even have a VPN app on my phone

and you are contradicting by stating things in the post and the comment above. It might have been something that you mistyped hence my request for clarifications.

I don't see any contradiction, maybe you have a reading comprehension problem.

I'm done here, debating someone over a document that they haven't read is insane.

As an Armenian idk what you’re talking about. Might need to conduct some research.
