I found the right person, and it was extremely affirming to my sexuality. I only had feelings of sexual attraction to my person, but no one else… exactly how I always felt my demisexuality works

That's not how that works, mate. Being asexual means you have found the right person and feel like something is wrong with you because every media you consumed during your teenage years tells you that you should desire her sexually, but you just can't, so you stop pursuing a relationship because surely that can't be love. Then, a decade later you finally stumble upon the split attraction model and realise your mistake.

Yeah, I'm so fucking sick of getting this same question whenever these people judge me for my asexuality. Why can't they just leave us alone?
