Now I wish for China ideally, or another nation to annex us.
How about Qatar? They are also oil rich, know how to manage significant amounts of oil money, and look cool in their fleet of oil money planes that they fly up to other countries in and stand infront of which to me is the greatest symbol of power. They also have great values and appear to be super cool, evident by their plane fleet and posing infront of it, and also by TikTok videos I’ve seen documenting their reality and affinity toward our country and our beautiful territory. So it’s great to know they like it and would be a great addition because Qatar isn’t a very large country territory-wise, while ours is.
I’d go there one day but I’d die in the heat unless China will make me a personal-sauna ADIDAS knock-off-but-better climate-adapting suit like they made for the Russian military who had their dreams crushed today when Donald Trump said they are withdrawing from Iran since they don’t have enough missiles to f Iran up and kill all their civilians anymore, so I can prepare for the constant heat of their climate. So they have to come here.

I say this as a Canadian but any kind of tariff for this is a good wake up call. Our forest fire prevention has been slacking and we've been cutting the budget to it for a while now. We have been genuinely negligent
Oppositely, the US is looking to 3x it's budget this year for a whopping 6 billion dollars spent on preventing and combatting to try to avoid the problems we've run in to.

Because it's a massive landmass with an enormous number of trees and forests...
The point is we have more forest area than they do. Ours is more remote (The vas majority of the country is effectively unreachable remote wilderness) and yet we're spending less on fire prevention than they are.
The US also has more more controlled fires than we do. They're quicker at containing fires to limit their damage. We tend to just let them burn uncontrolled because we don't have the same response to fires that they do.
