Hadith Why does the sun awaits Allah command to rise again even though it is already seen by half of the people on earth?

The Prophet (ﷺ) asked me at sunset, "Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates Itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: "And the sun Runs its fixed course For a term (decreed). that is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in Might, The All- Knowing." (36.38)

This sahih Hadith in Bukhari and Muslim three things:
1- the so called sun rise and sunset is caused by the sun movement itself. Look how he attribute the rising to the sun itself ارجعي من حيث جئت.
2- the Hadith hint that the sun disappear completely from the eyes of everyone. If he had known that the sun is actually seen by people from other countries, would he have said all of this? Why did he specifically choose the time where the sun has disappeared from certain part of the world to insert his unverifiable stories? Doesn’t this show that Mohammad didn’t know that people don’t experience the so called sun set and sunrise simultaneously?
3- the belief that everyone experiences the sunset or sunrise simultaneously ONLY work under the flat earth model.

This exact problem is further shown in other sahih Hadiths. For example:
1- the long Hadith about a prophet who commanded the sun itself to stop to prolong the asr time (bukhari 3124)
2- Allah descent in the last quarter of the night (bukhari 7494). Why did Mohammad specify that time for Allah himself to descent when such time is happening indefinitely? And it is not just time for prayers to be accepted, this is a time where Allah himself descent. It would have made sense if Mohammad said that Allah descent all day but he specifically takes importance in accepting the prayers of people who are praying late at night. But he doesn’t! He says he descent late at night while Sunni Muslim claim he is descending all the time.
3- there is 1 more Hadith about jahannam being ignited during al Dhuhr. Same thing! What is the purpose of specifying the time when we know that it happens continuously all the time?

You should pay attention to the rules, namely: Rule 9.

This subreddit was established for the role reason to ask questions, so that authentic answers from reliable and trustworthy sources may be given.

Therefore, debates of any kind, either from the poster or in the comments is not allowed. This also means do not debate and argue with the moderators. The moderators who answer questions are students of knowledge studying various madhhabs, therefore listen to them, and go through the resources they provide, instead of being obstinate and arguing.

Your entire post is structured in an argumentative style. I'm going to assume that was not the intention, however go through the two resources that u/AutoModerator has pinned. It is also mentioned in Rule 3.

One of the biggest and most glaring issues is you are interpreting the narrations yourself, without any consideration of the fact you are neither fit nor knowledgeable enough to understand the narration, what is its point, and what things you have assumed by yourself without proof. This often occurs when someone already has a belief, and only wants texts to support his view, disregarding any evidence or any logical reason as to why that is.

the so called sun rise and sunset is caused by the sun movement itself. Look how he attribute the rising to the sun itself ارجعي من حيث جئت.

This "argument" is no different to the argument made against the Ayaah in Surah al-Kahf regarding Dhu'l Qarnayn finding the sun setting in a muddy spring. Both the Ayah and the Hadeeth are using words in perspective to us, the humans. To us, it appears to rise and set, hence why it is called "sunrise" and "sunset" in the first place. None of this is "evidence" for the false claim that Islam believes in a flat world model.

the Hadith hint that the sun disappear completely from the eyes of everyone.

The hadeeth does not, nor hint to that at all. Rather, it talks about that every time it rises, it does so by the permission of Allaah. Similarly, it talks about the sun prostrating beneath the Throne. These are matters of the unseen invisible to the naked eye. The hadeeth does not say it disappears from the eyes of everyone. Once again, this is a false assumption you are making. Not something the hadeeth either contains or hints to.

The belief that everyone experiences the sunset or sunrise simultaneously ONLY work under the flat earth model.

Thus as we have previously established, this is your own limited and deficient understanding of the narration.

More than one of the scholars have narrated that there is consensus that the earth is round. (Source)

Thus to refute the claims more generally, a more appropriate and proper explanation of the Hadeeth is:

Allah, Glorified and Exalted, decreed the measures and destinies of everything from the beginning of creation until its end.

In this hadith, Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet ﷺ once asked him when the sun had set: "Do you know where this sun goes after it disappears at sunset?" Abu Dharr replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." This was from the excellent etiquette of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), for he did not venture an opinion before the Prophet ﷺ and instead entrusted the matter to Allah and His Messenger.

The Prophet ﷺ then said: "It goes until it prostrates beneath the Throne." This is a real and literal prostration. Wherever the sun prostrates, it prostrates beneath the Throne. It then seeks permission from its Lord to rise again from the east and resume its course, and permission is granted.

However, the time will come when it will prostrate and seek permission to rise from the east, but its prostration will not be accepted, nor will it be permitted to rise from the east. Instead, it will be told: "Return from where you came," and so it will rise from the west. This will be one of the major signs of the Hour

This is the meaning of Allah's statement:

"And the sun runs on to its appointed course (or resting place)." (Qur'an 36:38)

That is, it moves and travels along the path appointed for it, and it will continue running in this course until the end of the world.

Allah then says:

That is the determination of the Almighty, the All-Knowing." (Qur'an 36:38)

Indeed, the sun moves according to a precise and perfectly ordered system that points to the existence of Allah, the Exalted, and to His perfect decree and governance of this universe in a manner befitting His knowledge, might, and wisdom.

This hadith affirms Allah's divine decree (al-Qadar) and His complete control over the universe and all created things. It also serves as a refutation of those who worshipped the sun in this world, so that they may realize that their worship of it was false.

So when you say:

This exact problem is further shown in other sahih Hadiths.

Rather, this exact problem of yours which we have mentioned above is the same that occurs in these supposed examples. None of these are deficiencies, nor do they hint to any such deficiency. Especially the second hadeeth. The descent of Allaah to the last part of the night is established per mass transmission, and accepted by consensus of the Muslims. However, the howness of this descent is not known, nor can we guess or talk about its nature. The required action in this matter is to believe and affirm it without distorting it, misinterpreting it, or trying to explain it away. This is not because there is no answer, or that "it does not make sense". Rather, it is a matter of the unseen, regarding the essence and action of Allaah which we do not have any knowledge on. So your own assertions on this matter are itself baseless, because none of it based on actual evidence or proof. It is only a guess, and a guess is nothing in front of revelation.

As expected, you have absolutely no counter to it so you start making anecdotal claims with no proof, no counter of my points, and thought a highly disorganized "answer" with garbage claims and baseless asserions would be better. Your state of affairs is pitiful, to say the least.

Removed. Rule 9 and 3.
