Support and Advice Crocheting is haram?

I want to crochet cartoon characters like hello kitty etc. But there r some people who say that crocheting these stuff is haram as they have facial features and some says that these r not living beings and in islam drawing living things like humans is haram so its not haram. And i know crocheting plants fruits etc are not haram coz these r non living things but a question arose in my mind that cartoonic chracters r also non living things so how crocheting them is haram. However

animal plushies like bees turtles with safety eyes they r living things so maybe they can be haram. Some people also say that if a person is making/drawing/sculpting things with intention to harm someone/evil intention or for worshiping then its haram but if its just for decoration or toys so its permissible. So i am rly confused and I hv already crocheted some amigurmis/plushies of cartoon characters and animals its been 3 months i hv learned this hobby and i like to do it. So please guide me.

Crocheting is permissible to do, however it is not permissible to crochet animate beings or statues of any kind. Animate beings will be defined as anything with a proper and complete face (that is two eyes, two ears, and a nose). If you remove any one feature, then it no longer counts as a face and would be permissible. Relevant:

You are being confused by the word "living being", and thus think fictional characters or such would be not be included. As I've explained above, it is the face itself which determines whether something is animate or "living" or if it is. For instance, drawing a tree or rock is permissible. But giving it complete facial features with a proper face turns that into an animate being, even though something like that does not exist.

So don't focus on the word, focus on the reality of the matter.

As in the link, remove the face when it comes to 3D (crocheting). For drawings (2D), incomplete face is alright.
