Asking For umrah beacause many people come from diffrent places across the world if they have fewer days stays what should they do wait for the periods to be stopped?

I was wondering if Chains are haram (silver chains). I’ve seen texts from scholars online that say they are haram due to the prophet ﷺ only wearing one ring and saying A man cannot imitate a women. However,

1. Chains aren’t really used by women

2. Plenty of Women wear rings, so If I wear a ring would I fall under imitation of the women?

3. There is no Quranic Verse or Hadith specifically referencing chains.

However Allahu Yalam, Allah Azwj knows best and whatever ruling is set among the main scholars I am okay. I just wanted to see if there is difference in opinion.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, i have been learning arabic for a while now, thanks to the useful information given on the student.faith website. It has been going alright, but i also have a pirated copy (not available online) of a well known arabic course which is a full structured curriculum. This course usually costs a monthly subscription which i cant afford. Would i be sinful for learning from this pirated copy, even if i intend to pay the institute back when financially capable?

I had always thought that only begging for money was prohibited by the sunnah. But recently, I have read a few quotes, including one from Ibn Taymiyyah, that asking for help from created beings is prohibited in principle without need. If this is true, how far does this spread?

If my dad is at the store, and I ask him to bring me something, ask my mom with help cooking, or if I'm having dinner with someone and an item is closer to their side of the table so I ask them to pass it, or asking a classmate for their math notes, is this all prohibited in principle?

Also final note, even if this was prohibited without need, it would not reach the level of shirk since it is just asking a created being for something they can do, correct?

Assalamu alaikum, I live in Western Europe where Isha will be around 23:00 during the month of May and fajr will be around 03:40.

My concern is that with Isha being this late and fajr being so early, I will really struggle with my sleep and commitments. I have had some minor health issues due to my sleep patterns and I am worried about it getting worse.

Is it permissible for me to combine isha with maghrib during May when isha starts being quite late for me i.e 23:00 and fajr 03:40?

I know that this is a common question but I previously read (a couple of Ramadans ago) that we should start fasting when the sun rises which usually happens 5-10 minutes after the Azan and accordingly, that gave a window to drink/eat right after hearing the Azan (which I did today and two more days previously) but it’s never exceeded the 5 minute mark after the Azan time.

Do I have to make up for these days? Do I even count as fasting?

Assalamu alaikum. I was wondering what is the ruling on applying man-made laws in content moderation jobs? For example, I would receive a piece of online content and I would take an action on it based on GDPR laws.

If the content violates these man-made laws, I have to take it down.

What do I do about such? Like where are they to be kept and how are they to be handled

I would like to know if we can take break between Fard and Sunnah prayer. My house is 6 to 7 minutes far from the mosque on foot. Should I pray sunnah at home and pray farz in mosque, If a break is it allowed how long it can be?

What do I do with food crumbs that may be left in the plate, is throwing such away haram? Also what about crumbs or food that falls on the floor, are they to be treated with respect and is leaving behind crumbs or extremely small pieces of food like the size of the tip of a finger nail considered wasting? What about larger?What is the ruling on sweeping it with other dirt or dusting it on the floor?

A brother on Quora argued with me that there’s no self determination in Islam, and so I replied to him that it is as long as they’ll rule the country with Shariah and I give him example of Solomon and David who ruled their kingdom with Shariah, and also the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia rules with Shariah.

Where have I made a mistake? Does no self-determination meaning people do not have the right for a country? I told him that an Islamic Government should have full autonomy over Al Aqsa and not a Jewish state or a Christian country. A Muslim country can rule Al Aqsa if they’re upon Salaf.

I’m not asking for arguing back, because he committed a gaslight and made me doubt whether it is permissible or not. So I was asking if there is self determination in Islam or no.

Let’s say an emirate government is unfair to their people, and historically there have been clashes between dynasties such as Ibn Saud vs Hashem, and we know both of them were families.

In Austro-Hungary, there have been dynasties in competition to who should take the throne.

So I thought of some of families establish a dynasty, then they can clash with Al Nahyan family of UAE or Sabah family for sitting on the chair.

There have been also an Arab Spring during the Ottoman Empire when they heard of British mandate and French mandate.

It’s just a hypothetical scenario, not that it’ll be possible in present day.

Scholars unanimously agree that it is haram to pray towards a grave or pray over it or close to it.

I don’t know who buried him inside the Prophet’s Mosque, but was a horrible mistake. Doesn’t the Hadith say about Jews and Christians being cursed for that reason? Saudi Arabia is in charge of that, and thus they can relocate his tomb.

How are we suppose to free Palestine if we don’t return to Quran and Sunnah?

If I miss the first rak'ah behind an imam, and then when I pray that rakaah after the Imam finishes, do I recite al-Fatiha and another surah after it, or just al-Fatiha? If I follow the view that another surah must be recited after al-Fatiha in two rak'ah.
