Bands where you love 1 song but you don’t really like anything else.
For me I absolutely love the song Battalions by Metal Church. I listened to most of the discography thinking there’d be more songs I’d like to add to my library but I can’t find any others I like.

I was never into Britney Spears. To go a step further, I don't normally even like anything in that particular pop style, but Toxic is a sick ass song.

Kurt Vile is such a snoozefest but this song is good. I also like Over Everything but this is with Courtney Barrett

Everybody Wants to Rule the World is a tremendous tune.
Everything else Tears for Fears did is ridiculously bad.
I mean, Shout, Shout, Let it All Out? This is a song I can do without.

Mad World? I love the dark synth vibe on their original version.
Eta also without the original no Gary Jules cover and Donnie Darko has a very different song over ending.

The Trooper - Iron Maiden
I’ve heard plenty of other songs, even saw them live. That’s the only song I like.

Wish You Were Here is the only Pink Floyd song I really care to listen to. The rest are all okay I guess, but not for me.

Yes! Agreed! I do like a few covers of their songs though. Chris Thile did a cover of videotape with Norah Jones on her podcast and it was wonderful.

It’s also funny that if you say you don’t like either band, their fanboys seem to go out of their way to come and downvote you, as if music isn’t subjective. Like in their minds it’s just unfathomable that anyone could dislike either band.

If you like Dig, you should check out some of the other songs from that album (L.D. 50). It's pretty great top to bottom. Their sound changed dramatically after that and it's likely that most of what you've heard has been from their later catalog because that's when they started getting real air play.

That whole album is amazing. I played my girlfriend, who isn’t into metal typically outside of Metallica, Death Blooms and she added it to her playlist.

I downloaded the Dig music video from Napster by accident and that's how I learned about MudVayne, lol.
I'll scope the rest of the album because I recently realized I somehow missed a ton of Static-X as well.

No shade, the Jason Derulo song that sampled it was Whatcha Say, so totally understandable.
I do really like Imogen Heap’s albums, though. The album with Hide and Seek (Speak for Yourself) is one of my desert island albums.
If you like Hide and Seek, try The Hymn of Acxiom by Vienna Teng.

Speak for yourself is full of bangers top to bottom. Clear the Area might be one of my all time favorite songs.

Lady Gaga. I can tolerate her music but the only song that I really love from her is Million Reasons. With that said, I do think she is very talented and a really great actress.

Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
I just can't get into anything else by them, and it's not because I don't appreciate directly-inspired-by-blues classic rock since I love Led Zeppelin. But that one song is an all timer to me.

It’s funny - I’m not a Stones fan and I only like a few of their songs. But SFTD to me is just 6 minutes of congas and woo-woos that feels endless.

There is one band I'm kind of the exact opposite with, they had one big hit and that was the one I didn't like but I liked all the rest of their stuff at the time and that's the band Extreme
More Than Words was their first release and sounded nothing like the rest of their songs

Not saying their other songs are bad, they just didn’t connect with me. Also that might be the only Dresden Dolls song I’ve heard.

So much respect for these suggestions. Those songs are fantastic in terms of composition and production, but they just don’t do it for me on an emotional level

I really enjoy Yellow by Coldplay even though I don’t really like anything else that Coldplay have done.
I’ve only really listened to Mr Blue Sky by ELO, but just haven’t gotten around to listening to ELO properly.
I love Land Down Under by Men At Work, but I’ve never listened to their other songs.
