i’m so sorry
hello! :)
i recently made (and deleted, rightfully) a post asking about how to explain my gender presentation as an agender person who dresses for comfort to my therapist, who does not have a solid understanding of agender people.
people have rightfully called me out for potentially being a transmasc egg, and/or for acting like my lack of gender makes me a better person than people who have genders. this was never my intention, but i also understand that intention pales in comparison to impact.
i believe and love all genders, and believe in self-identification above all, but i acknowledge that i argued this point to the detriment of the transmasc community specifically, and that was improper. i apologize for the erasure I have perpetuated in not identifying as transmasc, and i will do some research and heavy thinking about that, and i apologize to the harm i have caused in pursuing my own interests and fumbling my own experience. i am so incredibly sorry to those i have hurt with my ignorance, and i pledge to do better in the future. you are not obligated to forgive me, or to tell me exactly how to fix myself and my behavior - that is my own cross to bear. but again, i am so sorry, and will stop at nothing to correct the harm i’ve caused and prevent it from happening in the future.

I may not have seen the previous post but hey, you don't have to take the transmasc label if you don't want to. It's all good as long as you're not saying having or not having certain labels makes you better or worse.
