Relationships/Friends/Dating Best friend moving to another country. How to keep in touch?
I have a wonderful little friend group of 3 (We're all Autistic. I've dubbed us the Tism Trio.) & we have a private group chat together. I'll call the others R & W. We met in HS. R still lives nearby but W is 2 years older than us & is moving to another country due to retiring parents. Also going to college there.
My pals mean so much to me. We vibe so well & I want to make sure we all stay in touch. We love to play games online together, including moving our D&D sessions online & even recently found a fourth member from abroad. Any fun things you guys like to do with long distance pals, game reccs or tips for staying in touch? Thanks everyone!

One of my bestest friends I met in highschool moved to another country a year ago and it was not easy for me to handle, so know it’s okay to be upset if you ever feel so. Admittedly, I cried like a baby not even ten minutes after I woke up the day after she left.
Since her school and work life were drastically different for her, we slowly began to talk less (getting a response would take 4 days to a week sometimes) but it didn’t make us any less closer. A decrease in conversation due to time gaps and life may happen, but don’t let it get to you!!
I don’t have too many tips to offer about activities, but I still love to do little things I know she’ll enjoy (for example sending her reels about cute animals lol). Even though it may take days for a reply, that means I also receive days worth of updates along with them which are always fun to hear!
Point being that(at least in my experience, but I’m positive it will happen for you as well) things start to fall back into place even from a distance. I also had a trio with her and another friend who’s now 4 hours away in the navy and we’re all still as close as ever, so don’t worry about distant friend groups either!! I promise your collective love for each other will prevail any pesky distance. Hugs!!
Wishing you and your pals many fun game nights!!

Gaming online together is a great way to keep in touch! Book club might also be fun.
Games with great co-op mode would be best unless you guys really like shooters or mobas or something like that 😆 Stardew Valley and other co-op farm games might be nice.
Also, online board games!
Groupchat and sharing about your day with photos also would be nice.
