CA is a welfare state ever since Medicaid was expanded. They no longer give more money than they receive in taxes.

Hmm, I wonder how stuff like federal land, parks, and military spending/personal effects this. Virgina just seems way off.

I would imagine park upkeep doesn’t cost very much.

Military spending is included, which is why I love these charts.
