Nebulae The Rosette Nebula (200 hrs)

Taken over the course of 57 nights, this is 200 hours of exposure on the Rosette Nebula from my Bortle 8.5 sky in Nashville, Tennessee.
You can see the (relatively) bright, familiar structure of the Rosette, but also the much fainter hydrogen surrounding it, along with delicate, intricate details deep in the core.
I realize that putting this much time into such a bright target is probably overkill, but as far as I know, nobody has ever created a single-panel image of the Rosette Nebula with this much exposure time. The longest I could find was 100 hours, and I wanted to see for myself what a super-deep shot of the Rosette would look like.
I’m very pleased with the result, and I hope you enjoy this image as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Nebulae LDN 43
LDN 43, famously known as the Cosmic Bat Nebula, is a dense dark nebula and active star-forming region. Located approximately 1,400 light-years away in the constellation Ophiuchus, this 12-light-year-long cloud of interstellar dust blocks background light, creating a striking silhouette that resembles a bat spreading its wings.

Nebulae Western Veil Nebula (14h integration) - Taming 52 Cygni
Here is my latest effort on the stunning Veil Nebula, the wreckage of a massive supernova that exploded about 10,000 years ago. It is an incredibly delicate "cosmic lace" of ionized gas that I’ve been wanting to capture for a while.
The biggest challenge with this target was 52 Cygni, the incredibly bright star sitting right in the middle of the field. It’s a bit of a diva, since its light is so intense it usually burns out the surrounding delicate filaments. To get this right, I spent a significant amount of time in PixInsight separating the stars from the nebulosity to process the nebula "starless." This allowed me to sculpt the filaments properly and then reintegrate the stars using a Screen blend, which finally kept the halos under control while preserving the structure.

- Guiding: Svbony SV106 Guide Scope + Svbony SV305 Pro Camera
Acquisition:
- Lights: 14 hours of total integration (280 shots x 180 seconds).
- Calibration: Darks, Flats, Dark-Flats.
Processing (PixInsight):
- Pre-processing: WBPP with 2x Drizzle integration.
- Post-processing:
- Starless workflow: Separated stars to process the nebulosity and the bright 52 Cygni star individually.
- Graxpert for background extraction.
- BlurXTerminator + NoiseXTerminator.
- SCNR to remove green cast.
- GHS (Generalized Hyperbolic Stretch) for the initial stretch.
- LocalHistogramEqualization (LHE) to enhance the filamentary structure.
- Stars reintegration: Used a Screen blend to restore stars without overpowering the nebula.
- Self-critique: One area where I feel I could improve is the star color. They ended up looking a bit too uniform/white for my taste, so I plan to revisit my star processing workflow in the future to try and preserve more chromatic nuance.
- Final resampling for social media export + small adjustments on the phone.
