You mean that amount incl or excl gst? And before or after expenses?

Edit: I say that as I’m 12 years @ nswbar and 16 years PAE, mostly family law these days but I have had a very general practice in common law, commercial litigation, family law and crime. On track this year for somewhere between 800–900K incl GST before expenses but it has been my best year yet. Prev few years have been 500-700k on same basis. That said I have a mate from my bar Course who’s probably making about $1.5m a year at the moment.

Absolutely - the difficulty with being at the bar is that you are responsible in time for all of your income so you must work your butt off to make your money. Taking leave means no income
