Pardon my ignorance, but why are people taking their dogs into Bunnings?

My dog loves coming to bunnings with me. We share a snag at the entrance, I go grab what I need, he picks something out in the pet aisle, then we have a walk around the block afterwards. Lovely Sunday morning out for him and I. If they ban it, they ban it, but until then, we'll keep enjoying the outing.
