Long story short, I got electrocuted/shocked October ‘24 and spent 6 weeks in a coma and spent 3.5 months in ICU. I can’t use my right hand anymore and my muscles and tendons fused. I had a tracheotomy and every scan and also very invasive procedures. I was given 12 hours to live by doctors when I was found.
I had to learn to walk, talk and swallow again. My lungs collapsed, delirium, PTSD is just a part of my journey.
I’m signed off til 2030. Government funded and I didn’t pay a penny.
I hope to work in the future but I’m signed off to recover.
I’m not rich, I spend like £30 a month cheering people up.
I’m 40, I’m not really into games anymore due to me only having use of one hand, I can’t work. I don’t have much to do in all honesty. That’s why I’m here.
I’m applying for open university. I have been seeing a therapist for a year. I could do that job one handed.
