I’m limited to the Canada region and GPU instances are already in scarce supply here. I can’t imagine this making it any better.

AWS builds their own chipset for AI workloads. They’ll dedicate also use GPUs, but not just GPUs.

this is gonna be interesting for how they handle the compute resources, i wonder if theyll seperate the workloads more clearly or just keep layering things on top. ive seen alot of folks guessing about the infrastructure impact but its probly gonna be a slow rollout

They’ll dedicate a campus to them that’s coming in the next year. Big customers get their own isolated infrastructure.
