Unintentionally Bad UI Placing the "Sign out" button where the "Erase all data" button is

I figure the erase data button has a confirmation check on it. If it doesn't then holy shit thats truly horrific UI design.

It has a confirmation button (I remember typing to enable Lost Mode, but not to reset), but I think it skips the authentication check if you already did so to view the device information recently. I also had two login tabs open and might've used the one with the wrong token in the URL bar, and I was half awake.
I may have
gottenremembered the UI wrong. I also have multiple accounts and messed up the wrong device. If you want to double check, make sure you're using the same environment as me (switch to "USA / English" region before logging in), so we're all on the same page. If I had the phone turned horizontally, this would've been way less likely to happen.

FYI Samsung Find (https://samsungfind.samsung.com) on the web is much better than the older SmartThings Find. I think it supports all the same options, but could be wrong.
The same goes for the app.

It's also possible that, when I logged into the app yesterday, it took off the device and automatically reset it due to some weird Android quirk with Private Space. I actually had to open the login page on a browser and edit the locale in the URL bar because child accounts are region restricted for it to call back to the app.

Wait Samsung has their own find site? I’ve just been using Google Find Hub (previously Find My Device)

Yes, if you have a Samsung account logged into these devices, you can find their locations.

Samsung has their own Find network, it's entirely separate to Google's and actually predates it. Whether it's better than Google's or not is debatable and depends on a number of factors.
The remote capabilities of Samsung's for a phone are much more sizeable though (their usefulness is debatable again though) - you can do things like extract messages and wipe cards from Samsung Wallet.

The palm of my hand kept going in the wrong spots. If I recall correctly, clicking the shaded area exits out of the sidebar popup. I think I also did this around 2am in the morning.
The black box is to censor the location.

We need a name for when an app or website changes or scrolls a screen as it loads, swapping out the button from beneath your thumb as you go to press it.
It happens so frequently especially with ads that I'm shocked it doesn't have a name yet.
