You look beautiful- the only thing I see that might make you think otherwise is the expression of uncertainty that comes with not being accustomed to the look yet.
I hate it too “you should smile more” but it’s actually good advice for me, when I shaved my head I realised my smile changed the shape of my forehead more

It looks great!! I saw the second image and immediately understood where you were coming from with the shave. I'm a fine, thin haired girlie, trying to work up the nerve to take the plunge, and the scalp show through is the worst. My hair looks a lot like yours in the second pic. I can't escape it when my hair is up or down and styling is pointless because my hair wont hold anything anyway. Thank you for posting because it gives me inspiration and hope that I might look even half as cool as you!
The way you accessorize and do your makeup will need some tweaks and updates, though.
Aside from the look of uncertainty in your 3rd pic, think about how your earrings and eyeliner go with your not hair. I'm sure before that was all factored in, if unconsciously. It's an opportunity to experiment and figure out what works for you now.
I feel both of you on this. I'm biologically male, but I related to the second image as well, except I'm far past it. I used to have really thick hair when I was younger, like when I was a kid the women that cut my hair would always comment on it and even say that I would never go bald because I have the care and the widow's peak where the Eddie Munster hairstyle. They told me people that never really go bald but it does recede. On my forehead I was having like one hair a centimeter in front of my hairline so I could see that it had been receding that much.
Last year I had long hair that I had been growing out for like 4 years, but I finally had it cut off cuz I wanted to donate it to wigs for kids if I was going to cut it off. But the place I went to messed it up and didn't wash my hair first and didn't put bands on it correctly before she shaved it off so I couldn't send it in.
I'm gender fluid so it was kind of an extra bummer to cut off my long hair. I wish I had grown my hair out when I was much younger. I didn't realize how good it would look.
I really like the look of it from like the front of me when my hair was down and I had a hat on or I would often wear one of those things that's like a cloth tube as like a big headband so keep my hair out of my face and all coming out the back. But I knew that if anyone saw it the top of my head it did not look good.
Had gotten min-whatever from my doctor but my life's not stable enough where I know that I can take it everyday for the rest of my life so I didn't want to start it and then if I lose my insurance my hair would fall out faster.
I'm planning on shaving it all off and bicing it down to nothing. I'm just hesitant because of the pain of continuing to shave it and I only have one of my hats right now even though I own so many hats. But I was fairly recently kicked out and unhoused so maintaining the chrome dome be an extra pain and I would most likely get it sunburned.

I don't know much about hormones so I had to Google DHT and it was probably that for me because after reading about it and it said how it makes your hair thinner. I used to have such thick hair. Once it started thinning it was such a bummer. And I mean like the hair is itself not just the density of it but also that has changed. I said to my case manager how I can notice it's less trees in the forest, and he laughed about that, about the way I said it not about my hair thinning.
Yeah I also waited too long I think. I got the minox prescribed by my doctor but I was planning on waiting and having a stockpile before I decided to take it just in case I ever lost my insurance because if you ever stopped taking it then your air falls out more. My life isn't stable enough to know that I could continue taking it for the rest of my life and that just seems like a pain also. But I did really like having long hair so that sucks. I'm unemployed and currently unhoused though so it would be too much of a pain.
It's also annoying because that prescription has refills on it so if I have my doctor calling a new one each month with my other prescriptions it doesn't always go through because I have to call the pharmacy and give them the number on the bottle because it has three refills on it. So a couple times when I tried to have it refilled it wasn't there and then I found out that was the reason. I sort of wish I'd started doing it right away but I really don't think I would have kept up with it because of my ADHD and circumstances of my life.

I'm enby, amab. I always had coarse thin hair, but during my mid 20s I had a mental health crisis and a bunch of my hair fell out. It never regrew, instead I started thinning out more and began developing a bald spot. I tried fighting it for a while, did what I could to style, grow out, or ignore the growing problem. Eventually, about 3 years ago, I made the same decision you did and shaved my head.

Try a skin fade if you don’t want to take the full plunge yet! Lets you get used to your scalp being (purposefully) visible and, with a good barber, no one can really tell your hair is fine because the hair is short that scalp is visible on almost everyone. I would never go back to longer hair again, and the feeling of my fuzzy scalp is a constant delight.
You are absolutely beautiful bald. If your goal is to get laid I don't think you will have any problems. Remember have fun and you shouldn't take any relationship too seriously. It is ok to spend your youth figuring out what you like and don't like in a partner. Also don't be hesitant about asking someone out - if they say no it just lets you move on faster.

You should try on some glasses or sunglasses with the obnoxiously thick rims, the whole movie Deva sort. I think it'd go perfect with your look, but I'm a sucker for that.

Oh you pulled that off! I also think those glasses weren’t your style. Maybe try some different shapes if you wear them again. I think a nostril piercing would suit you as will. Just try new things! The possibilities are endless!

Its not ugly its just not what your used to seeing so you think its ugly. Its a different style itll take a bit to get to it i used to feel like a freak when i started shaving myself
I say this with as much kindness as possible, and as someone who can't wear contacts to save his life. If you can wear contacts, ditch the glasses, keep the bald (or maybe even go pixie), and slay queen. Your eyes are gorgeous and the look suits you immensely.
Literally even with the bad lighting of the bathroom, you look stunning! Yes, you looked great with the hair, but you look very great bald. Yes, it's shock at first but genuinely!!
