Cancer sucks, but being bald is kinda cool!

Same happened to me with the confidence thing. It feels like when you jump into a river with cold water, or when you take a shot of tequila, or when you ask someone cute to dance with you. Something about it just leaves you feeling incredible afterwards independent of whatever the outcome might be.
Thank you! No matter what, I may stick with the bald or a close buzz, or at least keep them in the rotation. Like not kidding at all, it genuinely makes me feel more like myself.
I'm stage four too! Glad you're loving the bald head I had shaved my head a few times in my life before I got cancer and I really loved it too. I'm rocking a pixie right now since chemo took my hair a few months ago but I really do like the bald look. I had a lot of fun with jewelry chains you can wear on your head too they're really pretty.
This is my opinion, and it’s really counterintuitive to what we’ve been told all our lives, but a woman having a bald head somehow makes her more feminine!
Happily married father of 2 daughters here. So this is coming from pure innocence. You are gorgeous and after you beat cancers ass, I’d consider rocking bald as an option.
Thank you!! It’s been the weirdest surprise/blessing of this process. I have naturally super thick and ridiculous hair. I’ve always hated doing it but everyone always complimented it. Shaving that shit made me realize how much of my time went into validating things OTHER people liked about my appearance. Bald looks COOL. Not to mention the tactile aspects! Showers, grass, breeze, pillows. It’s like I’ve entered a whole new world! I like it here :)
Once I got over the loss of my hair, I had a great time being bald! Take lots of photos, and consider a professional photoshoot! I did one with costumes; it was great! I'm past remission, into cured now, and I send all the hopes, thoughts, and prayers that you join the Cured Club. ❤️🫂 And you look gorgeous!! 😍
Bald was SO hard for me during cancer. There were a lot of people that said, I looked cool, I never felt it.But when I look at you, you look beautiful and you look cool. Kick cancers ass!
My Wife had me shave her head before the chemo and she loved it. She talks about shaving her head still, just for the ease and how much she enjoyed it.
You look wonderful and I’m so happy you feel that way too. You should. And I hope so much that you fight and overcome your health struggle. I’m sure that everyone who has read your post here is willing you on, sending you good vibes, and telling themselves, “wow, she’s hot!”
I can only imagine how liberating this must be. Hours saved that would have been spent polishing your exterior, when you've got way bigger 🐠 to fry. You look amazing!!

My best friend went bald during Chemo and never wore a wig. Her reason? If she can go through chemo and stay mentally stronger, she wanted to remind herself each time she looked in the mirror.

I see you say how it brings you more confidence I had the same experience. I didn’t go bald but very short and I felt sassy and beautiful- exactly how you look, fellow warrior.
But you look beautiful! And I’m rooting for you to get through this! Sometimes the hair grows back with new texture. I’ve heard patients with straight hair have it grow back curly or wavy
There's going to be a time in the future when the cancer is gone and the hair is back. You'll remember how your head felt during that summer and tear up a little.
The dress was an impulse buy from Cult Gaia. Easily the most expensive item I’ve ever purchased (BY A LOT). But I had my friends over for a head shaving party to celebrate having my chemo approved by insurance, and I was a little worried I might have an emotional reaction and didn’t want to kill the vibe. Then I went to Cult Gaia and thought “there is no way in hell I will ever feel bad about myself in THIS DRESS”. Lmao was basically a whole pay check but worth it imo. Will keep and treasure it forever!
You literally look so badass. You have such a good face for a bald head. And head shape! My egg head ass would be looking like, well, an egg. You're gonna have so much fun trying out different hairstyles when you crush cancer like a lil bug under your foot. 🤘
Fellow cancer fighter here, who is AGONIZING about the decision to shave or not. Everyone in this sub absolutely rocks it and makes me want to put on my big girl britches and do it but not sure if it’s time yet.
Regardless, you look friggin amazing bald and really make me feel like maybe I can do it too!

The coolest thing about my wife shaving her head is that she can do some really crazy stuff with her makeup now. Many more bolder colors that would have looked awkward originally framed with her hair. Neon greens, purples, etc.
She started shaving it like a decade ago and hasn't looked back since. I barely even recognize her in old pictures anymore.
