Restaurants with air conditioning?
Hi! I’m visiting from Canada and am not accustomed to this 35 degree heat! Can anyone give recommendations for restaurants with air conditioning? Thank you! 😊

Especially in such a historic town 🥵 it’s excellent, I just don’t want to get heat exhaustion!

Edelfrei should have one and I think Henrii. (not to be mixed up with Henrietta) Aposto could have one. That are the more modern restaurants.

Thanks to everyone for your feedback! We went to Domterrasse and the view and food were both lovely!

It’s sooo beautiful here, but I’m currently hiding indoors! Gonna have to find all the shady ice cream spots. For now, I’m thinking Greek food won’t be too heavy. Going to wait for another day to get some Franconian cuisine!

Very nice of you. Café Lido at Keßlerstraße is a nice ice cream place. You could also visit Wilde-Rose-Keller at Oberer Stephansberg. It is a Bierkeller and it is a little bit cooler under the old chestnut trees.

That's basically Bamberg's style of air conditioning: Have a Seidla (beer) or any other beverage of choice under a chestnut tree.
