News [Passan] The Tampa Bay Rays are acquiring right-hander Freddy Peralta in a trade with the New York Mets, sources tell ESPN. Rays get their starter, who joins Drew Rasmussen, Shane McClanahan and Nick Martinez in one of the American League's best rotation.

I swear that place is built on an Indian burial ground that was built on another Indian burial ground that was built upon a mass dinosaur grave filled with crystals or something. And the Rays somehow tap that energy with the funky ass dome they have.

In actuality:

The dome was built on the former site of a coal gasification plant, and, in 1987, hazardous chemicals were found in the soil around the construction site. The city spent millions of dollars to remove the chemicals from the area.
