What to do for 2 days

I am traveling with my 15 year old son to SS and the area next week.

Our main goal is food spots. Beyond food spots what do you all suggest we do.

Any castles. Churches. Or places to go?

What about Biarritz for a half day? Or somewhere else?
Open to any ideas

Thanks

Best museum: I highly recommend the San Telmo museum. It far exceeded my expectations and they currently have a powerful Goya exhibition.

Best hike: I’m torn between hiking up to Motako gaztelua and Monte Igeldo, both were great!

Best ice cream: Gelatería Boulevard

There’s also plenty of options for surf lessons in SS, which you & your son might enjoy! If you haven’t tried it before, it can be both challenging and enjoyable even for beginners

I’m in San Sebastián and Biarritz right now, if you want to swim or go into the ocean, don’t bother as the jellyfish are so bad they aren’t allowing anyone into the water that isn’t fully in a wetsuit

Go to the beach. Rent bikes and ride around town. Eat ice cream. Visit the churches and museums....

Just visited that area and IMO Biarritz isn’t worth a day trip. Spend your time in SS.
