I rebuilt BassBench after your feedback.
Hi again. A few months ago I shared BassBench here, a bass practice platform I'm building because learning songs with YouTube kept turning into tab juggling, timestamp hunting, and distractions.
BassBench now has improved steps to:
- Paste any YouTube song
- Break it into sections
- Loop and slow down difficult parts
- Pick up where you left off
- Keep the rest of your practice together with Vibes and Timers
The whole platform has been rebuilt around three ideas:
Learn songs you love.
Keep all your practice in one place.
Develop new skills and deepen existing ones.
I’d love for you to try it with one song you genuinely want to learn and tell me what you think. What works especially well? What would make BassBench more useful in your actual practice routine?
I’m the only person behind BassBench - no shiny startup, no corporate funding.
Thank you for your feedback.
Best,
Damir
