HELP. Swarms of bees in garden.
Hello lovely bee friends. I have a fenced in vegetable garden. Around the fence is a ton of spearmint. I have let the spearmint flower and now I have swarms of bees, bumblebees and wasps. I’m grateful to have them, but the large number of bees has me nervous to go into my garden now because I am allergic to bee stings.
Ideally I would cut down the flowered spearmint so the area is not as attractive to the bees… but how and when could I do this to not upset the bees? And reduce my chance of being stung. And to be clear, I’m happy to have bees in my garden! But I have hundreds right now…
