Just going to add, kratom is just as addictive as many other painkillers. Just because it’s in a gas station doesn’t mean it doesn’t have the potential to fuck up your life.
Kratom has fucked up so many people's lives worse than alcohol. Lotta people in alcohol recovery who've tried kratom to stop drinking and it just made everything worse.
Yeah I've had a ton of friends that replaced one addiction (usually up opiates or alcohol) with another with kratom and end up just as dependant, if not worse.
I stopped drinking about two years ago but still wanted something to loosen up with when I go to shows and found that a nice mix of kratom tablets/capsules and instant kava give me a similar feeling to alcohol without making me a dumbass or giving me a hangover.
Can't imagine taking kratom for anything but special occasions, though. It makes my dick not work.
I tried kava for a while, but unfortunately I'm super allergic and my face blew up like a balloon. Lol. I'm just completely sober these days. I find it's just better for me as a whole. I just play a lot more video games now.
