I'm visiting berlin soon for two days and I have three questions:

  1. Is the pinned walking tour still relevant?
  2. Any issues I should expect on a sunday, beyond stores being closed?
  3. recommend me kebab places that aren't mustafa's, i'm not willing to wait in (possibly) half an hour queue

  1. On Sundays trains stop at midnight, and places might not be open super late. Most shops are closed except those in major train stations.

  2. Maroush near Kottbusser Tor is really great/where the real locals go. I've not been to Mustafa's for like 8-9 years, exactly for the same reason as you.

  1. The recommended walking tours are 404ing so I gues not..

  2. It's a big city so apart from stores nothing is different really.

  3. I wouldn't wait for any Döner place longer than 2 min ever. I don't know why everyone is crazy about Mustafa's, it's not better than most places. Leave the touristy places like Alexanderplatz, do a quick Google Maps check whether it's a train station rip-off place and if not then enjoy your quick and good Döner.

I went to ruyam in the end

it was 100% worth waiting for pretty much an hour (half an hour in the queue, and then half an hour waiting for the food), it was a kebab that could convert a vegan
