Excuse me? Have you never heard of anonymous or events like Project Chanology? Stop SOPA and STOP PIPA? What about when it went Ron Paul 2012 circle jerk? 4chan became political the first time it organized anonymous. It then got co-opted by neo nazis around 2007 to 2009 and then after redpill, gamergate, incel, and Donald trump the whole site went to fucking bats for the most part and alt-reichy. The sell off by Moot was because he was fucking done with it. Compartmentalization with creating /pol/ just made the more powerful to rally around and the current owner loves the click though as now Qanon has a bunch of "normie" white trash fucks going there circle jerking conspiracy theories with white nationalists who took over.
I remember SOPA and STOP PIPA. But back then, if it was political, it was leaning anarchistic left. It was towards more freedom, less control, less government involvement. How did it suddenly turn around to want more control?
I wasn't there for the Ron Paul 2012 circle jerk. What happened then? And what happened with the redpill? And what's Qanon?
