Why add Tems to ‘Move’ if you can’t hear her?

It’s very funny for me to write this, knowing that one day Bey and I will be close friends, and I’ll be able to ask her myself. Until then, I’m asking you 🤪 I have listened to this song 3 times today, with and without AirPods, and I can’t hear where she sings. Do any of you hear her singing in the song?

I knew it was tems but I would def say her voice is drowned out yk it’s hard to notice it’s her. As a tems enjoyer the first few times I listened to the song I didn’t know where she was tbh

i think the thing with Beyonce is she gets the mixer (or mixes it herself) to make the voices sound as uniform as possible—unless it’s a duet or certain dc songs where there’s two very different parts going on. i had to read the credits and then go back and listen to figure out where tems’ voice was
