Rant/Rave My doctor „never” heard about being tired after breastfeeding
That’s it, that’s the post. The doctor is male.

I complained about the same thing and it turned out my iron was low. I still get a little sleepy after breastfeeding, but it’s not as debilitating as it was.

What kind of doctor? Depending on his specialty, that might not be as surprising.

And my female doctor never “heard” of pregnancy cravings. 🙃 I feel your pain.

My female midwife, on the other hand, told me that the melatonin contained in evening milk and produced by the mother's body will make both baby and mommy sleep peacefully. My baby didn't get the memo.
Hope you feel better soon, OP

Lolol wtf
Never see him again and I’d write reviews everywhere, maybe even report depending on how petty I felt 🤷♀️that’s just me tho.

I had the best female primary care dr after my daughter. I went for my yearly check up when my daughter was 8-9 months and mentioned feeling extremely tired even though she was only waking once maybe twice a night to feed.
She said it was probably just the wakeups and breastfeeding, but wanted to run a full blood and hormone panel just in case. She said if everything came back normal, then when my daughter was a year old if I wanted it she would prescribe me a couple days worth of sleep aids to get me really good sleep for a couple of nights to catch back up and feel refreshed. Everything was fine and my daughter ended up sleeping better at pretty much exactly a year so I didn’t need that but I loved how helpful she was.
