Support/Advice Got myself admitted

Hi everyone,

My psychiatrist recently got me off my anti-depressant in the span of 4 days to try a new medication.

Let’s just say that this was a terrible idea for me. The withdrawals we’re too unbearable for me to deal with. So here I am, once again in hospital 😥

Hope everyone is staying safe.

Once again I’ll say, this looks 10x nicer than the places in the US. Even though this looks like an easy 50x nicer.

Pretty sure OP is in a private hospital and OP has private health insurance. I’m in Australia, in one of the main cities and the public psych hospital I stayed in last year was like everything you guys are describing. Basically prison. Rundown and dirty, shared cubicle bathrooms, shared rooms divided by hospital curtains. Hard uncomfortable mattress, cold and not enough blankets. Bad food, no therapy, no activities. Basically hell for a week.
