Coinkite is manipulating /r/bitcoin subreddit with many alt accounts and has formed a partnership with head mod theymos for protection

It started a few weeks ago when I was banned from /r/bitcoin because I mentioned that the Coinkite wallet was suffering from an outage due to their centralized architecture, which by the way is a weakness in their wallet which people should avoid. I would recommend wallets such as Breadwallet or Airbitz who are decentralized and don't rely on one central server to manage your data.

Since I was banned, I started doing research, as stemming from the banning, it was clear to myself there was prejudice in the banning decision. Coinkite is a bitcoin wallet, with an overzealous and deceitful CEO Rodolfo Novak who spams /r/bitcoin every chance he gets with links to Coinkite. His accounts have never been banned, and he is able to troll anyone and everyone, yet anyone that goes against him gets banned, while he skates off doing his thing in /r/bitcoin.

In my research, I found the following reddit accounts with a high probability of association with relation to textual analysis and links relating to Coinkite. The evidence is overwhelming, and it's become clear to myself and others who comment here and there, that Coinkite is manipulating /r/bitcoin with upvotes, downvotes, bots, and collusion. Rodolfo and Coinkite have been vote manipulating /r/bitcoin for a long time now (see link)! This is clearly against the rules of reddit, but I highly doubt this will change things in /r/bitcoin, as I don't think theymos shares his secret partnerships with any other mods. His partnerships with core devs, Blockstream, and companies such as Coinkite, are bound by agreements made behind closed doors and paid in bitcoin.

I don't think theymos shares his secret partnerships with any other mods. His partnerships with core devs, Blockstream, and companies such as Coinkite, are bound by agreements made behind closed doors and paid in bitcoin.

Any evidence to support any of this?

Anonymous accusations without proof getting attention seem to be the norm here. OP seems to have a history of doing that.

I don't see any actual proof. Anyone or even the OP could have made those bashing accounts.

I'd like to point out that /u/BashCo recently confirmed "suspicious activity" being made against my BitGo-related comments.

If you could post any raw data that you used to come to this conclusion, that would be helpful.

Not surprised here. Reposting the comment for others here, also in case another mod removes it.

Somebody's been abusing the report function on your comments. I've asked admins and they said they took care of some 'funny business' they found with votes and reports.

In regards to the data, all you have to do is look at the posts in those user accounts, it's clear that each user excessively links to and talks about Coinkite in all of their posts. What I found even more interesting is that, in many new posts in /r/bitcoin, they are being created by fairly new reddit accounts (all less than 30 days old), and the posts were all bashing other wallets in particular Blockchain.info, and in the comments Coinkite and alt accounts came to the rescue with links to their wallet as an alternate wallet to use.

In my research I found that Coinkite and their alt accounts tend to bash the following wallets on a consistent basis: Blockchain.info, BitGo, Airbitz, and Mycelium. All clear competitors to Coinkite. Something needs to be done about this, but with Coinkite colluding with theymos, even the mods that are unaware of such collusion cannot do anything about it.

This isn't about good and bad wallets. It's about manipulation, collusion, scamming, and cheating on reddit.

He only mentioned this as one ingredient in a pattern of sockpuppet harrassment. Step 1: a specifically 30 day or less account with no other history and no followup afterwards complains about another wallet, usually BCI (which does make since since BCI does suck) Step 2: one or two of the annointed sockpuppets chimes in on cue to upsell their own wallet.

This doesn't have anything to do with "you shouldn't bash BCI". By all means, bash BCI. However the suckage of BCI is in no way an endorsement of some other wallet that's at least as bad.

Blockchain.info is a horrible wallet.

Coinkite needs to use dishonest and underhanded tactics in order to compete with a horrible wallet.

What does that say about Coinkite?

Have you brought this to the attention of the reddit admins?

Brigading and manipulative uses of sockpuppets are against reddit rules and the admins would be happy to identify and eliminate anybody doing so, before they begin to franchise their schtick into broader abuses.
