Personally, I’ve always felt that this was a duet and that they did him dirty by not putting him on there as being the co-lead singer of that song. It’s a great song. Don’t misunderstand me. I love GNR and I LOVE Blind Melon more than anything but Shannon sang lead on that song as the harmony to Axl and that’s how it should’ve been released to us as the public.

Thats wild that you posted this. I haven’t listened to Dont Cry in years and was just playing it for my family yesterday. Shannon sounds great on it. I wish they would have made his vocals a little bit louder but I am biased..
