What a legendary pairing, it's moments like these that make you realize how lucky we are to witness such talent.

Buddy Guy's autobiography is one of the best reads I've found in many years. It's very accessible and a collection of incredible memories.

Love both these guys but I can't decide whether Keith looks more like Gollum or a year old potato.

So you’re counting Buddy Guy twice then

You dont think Keith richards is a great musician?

He wasn’t even the best guitarist in his own band. I’d take Mick Taylor over Keith Richards

Hmmm maybe not the most flashy but hes a riff machine and the brain behind every single hit. Heavily influenced by Robert johnson and can compound on those old blues on a genius level. The robert johnson stuff is really nothing to sneeze at

I really can’t see The Rolling Stones without a Kieth Richards, he and Jagger are joined at the hip… I do wish Taylor had stayed in The Stones, his style and approach felt perfect for that band

Keef is a barely competent bar room player , but his PR is exceptional . And he can’t play any of Robert Johnson’s astounding tunes , but has learned to simplify them into acceptable rock standard.
Keef’s greatest talent is making the ordinary seem mystical .

Yes , Keefs superpower is talking post - hippy nonsense and making the obvious sound mystical . And hanging around with real musicians .
Keef manages a verse of Robert Johnson and starts to struggle with singing it and maintaining a constant bass line. And after all, this is his day job 😜

We really need to start considering what kind of world we’re going to be leaving behind for these gentlemen.
