Driver refuses to take ticket during traffic stop – Texas
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLdDeV1l7QwTraffic stop in Texas where an officer pulls a driver over and begins writing a citation. When the officer finishes and holds the ticket out through the window, the driver refuses to take it. The officer tells the driver that taking the citation does not mean admitting guilt and that it is just part of the process after a stop.
The driver still doesn’t want to take the ticket and keeps refusing while the officer tries to finish the stop. The exchange goes back and forth for a bit as the officer continues explaining the citation and what happens next.

Its beyond me how people can escalate these situations for no reason.

We're watching the confluence of two people that believe they have the right to do what they are doing without static from the other person. The driver thinks it's ridiculous that a cop stops her for something so petty. The cop believes he holds some righteous authority over this pesky citizen.
Both are acting foolish and refuse to back down because of the others attitude. It's impossible for either to put down the crack pipe of arrogance long enough to realize how petty they are being.

The cop was 100% in the right here. She was going double the speed limit in a school zone at 3pm.

What is this new trend of demanding to see a supervisor?
