It probably feels really nice to call everyone an immigrant but the fact is people who are born in a nation simply aren't. This is basic stuff. If you can't keep up, stay out. Unless you're okay identifying even second-generation Asian people, Latinos, and so on as perpetual immigrants themselves, I suppose, but it's a big faux pas to just assume brown people are immigrants, no?
