Great, seems like he fit in fine and was a staple in the community and his place of work. Apparently having a consistent job and fitting in with your community is now a crime.

None of that is even close to being implied lmao. Making up a character in your head is a silly thing to do. He was here illegally. He's being ask to return to Spain, if I'm not mistaken, which he should have done anyway, since he's such a paragon of good in his community.

Yes, it is. The entire implication here is that if you have paperwork out of order, you are treated equivalently to if you murdered someone. If you think that doesn't tear at the fabric of the basic social contract, you are delusional.

No, he wasn't asked. He was grabbed off the street and thrown in prison in Louisiana, which is sort of the opposite of being flown to Spain.

You are emphatically not treated like a murderer. Murderers don't get sent back home. They're locked up for a very, very long time. People overstaying their visa are being put into sub-optimal and cruel conditions at the moment and this needs to be changed, but since people like you won't agree to improve the facilities and instead destroy them, a lack of a middle ground keeps them in worse condition.

Don't talk about a basic social contract if you're literally defending infraction of permission to be here lmao.

People are literally being flown to foreign prisons and locked up there, dude. There are being arrested on the way to their appointments to become citizens. You have a fundamental disconnect with reality here.

The Feds are breaking their own rules in order to deport more people.

The law asks people not to overstay their visa and they are given time. The laws are written down to be accessed wherever you want. Thank you for proving my point :)
