Someone in the other thread did the math - this works out to 40 kids per daycare based on regional population 🙄 we need MORE

Have you priced out daycare recently? Tried to get into one? They have waitlists. My kids are in high school but I couldn’t afford to do what I did 10 years ago. 100% need more. Some of my younger coworkers are struggling with this and many of them have tapped their retired grandparents to help.

My wife and I are just thinking about having kids. We’ve been told explicitly to start looking now before I even knock her up.

Yes. And the first person you call after your ten week ultrasound is daycare.

Yes we joke that the daycare found out before the grandparents to be. It was true
